The Oil Burner Test for thermal/acoustic insulations evaluates the burn through resistance properties of thermal and acoustic insulation materials when they are exposed to a high-intensity flame to show compliance to the requirements of 14 CFR 25.856(b).

One of our oil burner fixtures is designed to quickly transition into a position to conduct oil burner testing for acoustic insulation.
