Acoustic Insulation Burnthrough Testing

Acoustic Insulation Burnthrough Testing evaluates the ability of aircraft thermal and acoustic insulation materials to resist burnthrough when exposed to a high-intensity oil burner flame. ACES performs this testing to assess the fire-resistant performance of insulation materials and assemblies and to support demonstration of compliance with applicable certification requirements under 14 CFR § 25.856(b).
