Powerplant Firewall Testing

Powerplant Firewall Testing evaluates the ability of aircraft firewall assemblies to resist flame penetration and maintain fire separation when exposed to high-intensity flame conditions. ACES performs oil burner testing to assess firewall materials, components, and assemblies in support of applicable powerplant fire-protection requirements under 14 CFR §§ 25.867, 25.865, 25.1191, and 25.1193. Testing can support material evaluation, design validation, and certification programs for firewall installations used in aircraft powerplant applications.
