Radiant Panel / Flame Propagation Testing

ACES provides specialized Radiant Panel / Flame Propagation Testing to evaluate the fire resistance characteristics of thermal and acoustic insulation materials used in aircraft interiors. Using controlled radiant heat exposure and an ignition source, this testing measures how flames spread across insulation materials and assesses their ability to resist sustained combustion.

Conducted in accordance with 14 CFR 25.856(a) and Appendix F, Part VI, radiant panel testing supports FAA flammability compliance and aircraft certification requirements. With extensive experience in aviation testing and regulatory standards, ACES delivers precise, reliable test results to help manufacturers and suppliers demonstrate material compliance and enhance aircraft safety.
