Lavatory Waste Compartment Testing

ACES provides specialized Lavatory Waste Compartment Fire Containment Testing to evaluate the ability of aircraft lavatory waste receptacles and their surrounding assemblies to contain fires originating within the compartment. Testing examines critical components, including waste receptacles, enclosures, access doors, seals, and other features that contribute to effective fire containment. Conducted in accordance with 14 CFR § 25.853(e), this testing supports FAA flammability compliance and aircraft certification requirements by demonstrating that applicable waste compartments can safely contain an internal fire.

With extensive experience in aviation fire testing and regulatory compliance, ACES delivers reliable test results to help manufacturers and suppliers demonstrate compliance and enhance aircraft safety.
