Fire Containment Cover (FCC)
Unit Load Device (ULD)
ACES has the capability to offer Fire Containment Cover (FCC) and Unit Load Device (ULD) testing to show compliance with Technical Standard Order TSO-C203.
ACES conducts FCC/ULD testing in a 2,400 sq. ft. test lab which is dedicated to large-scale testing. Our team of DERs and trained lab technicians are experienced in assembling the fire load (boxes/contents), installing the test article, conducting the 6-hour test, and extinguishing the fire post-test.
For safe test witnessing, a climate-controlled test observation room is available inside the test lab.
For remote witnessing, we have cameras to view and record all four corners of the test article.
In addition, we have a thermographic imaging camera to indicate the temperature and location of hot spots inside the test article.
In order to offer customers as much data as possible, we have designed a thermocouple holding fixture to allow for any arrangement of up to 15 thermocouples. Additional thermocouples can be incorporated if required.
