This test is used to show compliance with 14 CFR Part 25.865, 25.867, and 25.1191.

This test method evaluates the burn resistance and weight loss characteristics of aircraft seat cushions when exposed to a high-intensity open flame to show compliance to the requirements of 14CFR Part 25.853.
